What is the EGO Free Battery Oct – Dec Promotion?

Customers who spend over $800 in one transaction of EGO products from a participating store between 01/10/20 at 07.00am AEST and 31/12/20 at 09.59pm AEDT are eligible to receive free battery via redemption. Customers can submit only one claim per qualifying purchase (one invoice) but up to 4 claims per household.

How do I enter?

  • First, spend over $800 on EGO products during the purchase period from a participating store.
  • Second, click here. to create a claim by entering the required details and uploading your receipt.
  • Once you have successfully entered your details and submitted your claim, please allow up to 10 business days for us to validate your claim.
  • Once we have done this, you will receive an email confirming your claim status and/or next steps.

When do I need to enter by?

  • You must make your qualifying purchase of EGO products between October 1, 2020 and December 31, 2020
  • You must also claim within the claim period which ends on January 31, 2021

What do I do if I don’t have a receipt?

Sorry, with every claim you’ll need to upload a receipt to verify your purchase of EGO products.

How many times can I enter?

You can submit only one claim per qualifying purchase but up to 4 claims per household during the promotional offer period.

I spent more than $2,000 in one transaction; do I qualify for more than one battery?

No, you will qualify for one 10.0Ah battery. However, if you have spent more than $800 in another transaction (on a separate invoice) you can make another claim.

When will I receive my battery?

Your battery will be shipped within 28 days of your claim being deemed valid. You can check the status of your claim here. For tracking details please contact us here.

Do I need my claim number for any queries I have?

Yes, your claim number is required for any questions or tracking battery claims.

If I do not make my claim before the end period of January 31, 2021 what can I do?

Sorry but no claims will be accepted after this date.

Can I have the retailer make the claim on my behalf?

No, claims must be made by the person who purchased the product.

Can I get my battery from the retailer directly?

No, claims must be made by the person who purchased the product and once validated the appropriate battery will be sent out.

I have registered my product on the EGO website, will this allow my claim for a free battery to be processed?

No, this is a separate process that is used for warranty and product tracking. It has nothing to do with this promotion and will not be able to be used to claim a free battery.

Can I pay money to upgrade my battery?

No, the battery you will receive will be as per the terms and conditions based on the spend thresholds.

Can I get two smaller batteries instead of one large battery?

No, the battery you will receive will be as per the terms and conditions based on the spend thresholds.

I have not received my battery and believe it may have been lost?

If your battery is returned as undeliverable, we will inform you by sending you an email to the email address specified on your claim. You must respond to this email with the requested information within 5 business days otherwise your Gift will be forfeited. If you have any further questions, please contact us here.
